Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26; John 1:1; Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19)

We believe that all scripture is inspired by God. We rely on the Word for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness. The original manuscripts are true and without error in all that they declare and are, therefore, the supreme and final authority for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that each person is born with a sinful nature. Each person is in need of a Savior for we all fall short. Our deserved penalty for sin is a physical and spiritual death, but we have the hope of an eternal life in Christ. (Romans 3:23; 6:23)

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and was both God and man. He came into the world to save sinners and He provided salvation from eternal separation from God through His voluntary, substitutionary death and physical resurrection which is available to all who accept this gift of salvation by faith. (Matthew 1:18; Philippian 2:5-8; 1 Timothy 1:15; Roman 5:10; 10:9-10, 13)

We believe that salvation cannot be earned by good works; but rather is a gift from God. He crafted us in His workmanship so that we could accept his gift. (Ephesians 2:9-10)

We believe that if we confess our sins, Christ, in His faithful and forgiving nature, will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

We believe that all who receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are promised an inheritance in His kingdom and Christ dwells within all believers. The Spirit will hold you until the Day of Redemption. (Ephesians 1:14-14, 4:30)

We believe our Lord Jesus Christ will return one day in power and victory. (Revelations 19:11-16)

We believe that Christians should share in the unity of the Spirit and a bond of peace because we share one Spirit, one Lord and one God and Father who is over all and through all and in all. (Ephesians 4:1-6)

We believe in the calling of all believers to a personal study of the Word, sharing the good news of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and encouraging one another in obedience to God’s Word. (2 Timothy 2:15; Matthew 28:19-20)
